2018 Summer Solstice Celebration

On a beautiful Summer Solstice evening in 2002, then Supervisor Susan Adams PhD, RN, started an event to support the Marin Children’s Health Initiative, that filled the gap for hard working families in Marin who could not afford medical care or private health insurance and who could not qualify for public insurance programs. The event was adopted by Marin Community Clinics in 2005 with Susan’s blessing to continue the support for the under-served in our community.

Now, more than 10 years later,  the Summer Solstice Celebration has grown into a magical evening of delicious food and drinks, live entertainment, good fun, and a LIVE auction. The summer solstice is a time for renewal and revitalization for everyone, including Marin Community Clinics. Our patients rely on the vital services we deliver, as it is our mission to provide high-quality, affordable, patient-centered care.
